Privacy policy

What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. Written in plain language because legal jargon serves no one.

What we collect

Account essentials — your name, email, phone number, date of birth, and password (stored as a salted hash).

Identity — the last four digits of your BVN or NIN, plus the full number for the duration of the verification call to our provider (Dojah or Smile), after which the full number is discarded.

Payment — bank account numbers and account names you add for cash-outs. Card numbers are never seen by us; they are tokenised by Accelerate by iRecharge at the point of payment.

Activity — wagers placed, lottery tickets bought, deposits and withdrawals, device and browser metadata.

How we use it

  • Operating your account and settling wagers.
  • Anti-fraud, anti-money-laundering, and dispute handling.
  • Service-level notifications (match accepted, deposit landed, cash-out sent). You can opt out of all but security alerts.
  • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics to improve the platform.

Who we share with

Only the parties needed to operate the service: Accelerate by iRecharge (payments), Dojah and Smile (identity), Auth0 (login), Render and AWS (hosting), and SendGrid (transactional email). Each is bound by a data-processing agreement.

We do not sell your data. We do not share with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Account and transaction records are kept for seven years after your account closes, per Nigerian financial-services record-keeping obligations.

Device and analytics events are kept for 13 months.

Your rights

You can export every piece of data tied to your account at any time. You can correct details from Profile · Personal details. You can close your account from Profile · Security.
